I’ve never seen Mash Gang in stores where I live, and not many of the curated online bottle shops I frequent carry it. So I am somewhat embarrassed to admit that I’ve just now had a chance to give these guys and their brews a try. And oh my, did their unique craft brews impress me! They don’t seem to aim for yet another ‘name-the-version-of-your-brew-of-choice.’ These are unique brews that take their style to the next level. They are delicious, surprising, and memorable.

Glug (modern cerveza style lager). Glug, glug, glug this all day. This is a most refreshing, crisp brew for those who like their beers crisp and crushable. More pizzazz than your standard Mexican lager with gooseberry in the background. Perfect on a hot day, riding around on your friend’s boat, and an essential addition to your vacation cooler.

Journey Juice (fruited mango india pale ale). For when you’re feeling extra fruity. Juicy Mango meets hops in this deliciously crushable summer brew that pairs well with sunsets and sandy beaches. Take it to a tropical island with you or have it take you there—even if just for a brief moment.

Chug (hazy IPA). An easy drinking hazy IPA that pairs hoppy bitterness with a juicy brew profile. Great after a hike, at a concert, or sitting around with your pals. A worthy competitor to your current hazy IPA of choice.

Lesser Evil (chocolate cherry stout). I can’t stop thinking about this one. And by thinking, I mean that I can taste that delicious sweet cherry flavor wrapped in a bubbly, creamy chocolate coating my tongue. This NA dark brew is perfect for a cool night around a camp fire, a chill night watching your favorite show, or an after-dinner dessert brew to share (although you may not want to share this one!)
